The initial structure is designed to be clear for athletic departments, manageable for schools, and flexible enough to grow.

Initial operating framework

Details will be finalized with founding school input before the pilot invitational and first regional League season.

The League is planned around a school-friendly spring or early summer competition window, with dates finalized in consultation with member schools.

Initial competition will prioritize team-based match days with singles and doubles opportunities, designed for predictable travel and supervision.

Divisions will begin regionally, with North Jersey as the first target area before expansion into additional regions.

Scoring standards will follow established pickleball conventions and be published clearly before League play begins.

Postseason play will be introduced after a stable founding school base is established and scheduling capacity is confirmed.

Participation will be limited to eligible high school students representing approved member schools under school supervision.

The League will provide basic equipment guidance for paddles, balls, nets, court surfaces, and match-day setup.

A formal rulebook will be released as the pilot structure is finalized with founding school input.
